Once payment is made, it takes only a few minutes to log you onto your 3iC A2 CofC online training course. Our comprehensive introduction module will guide you through the process of how to access the course and get the best from it. Our clients love the level of content and style of learning.
On average it takes our students around 4 hours to complete this phase. But there is no rush! You are fully in control and can decide how intensely you want to study.
Online Theory Content
The course covers the theory syllabus as set by the CAA comprising of the modules as shown above. We don’t give you piles of reference material to plod through or expect you to take time off from your work. The information is simply laid out and easy to absorb. To assist you with any note taking, the presentation material is also available for download.
You may pause or stop a module at any time and resume at the same place at a later date. You can also revisit completed modules. We are available via phone or email to assist you. Once you have successfully completed the theory course modules, simply contact us and we will arrange your online theory examination at a time that suits you.
Theory Examination
The examination consists of 30 multi-choice questions and is held online in accordance with CAA requirements. Your allocated Invigilator will assist you to set this up. We suggest that you first really know the subject matter before attempting the exam.
Self-Declaration of flight competence
Before we issue you an A2 CofC certificate, the CAA requires you make a declaration you are competent to fly in the Open Category of current UAS Legislation. For this, you need to ensure you are practised in the type of operations you will be using the A2 CofC for.
Remember that should something go awry, you may well have to prove to the CAA you were competent at the time. We therefore believe it is important for you to obtain suitable commercial standard hands-on flying training. Our regional based expert Instructors can provide you with bespoke flight training to meet your needs and help to ensure you are fully capable to operate competently within the Open Category be it for commercial or hobbyist reasons.
